GRANTS PASS, Ore. — Artists from around the country and from the Southern Oregon area joined together in downtown Grants Pass.
The Art along the Road Event along the rogue event has been around for eleven years. Dozens of people joined in to watch the artists and organizer say it’s the short life span of the art that makes this event appealing to many people. Organizers say each design will remain until the rain eventually washes them off.
“It’s all about that temporary beauty that this kind of art form offers that no other art form can. So, you better get down here and see it, take some pictures because it’s gonna be gone,” explained organizer Jeff Jones.
The art and music lineup will continue Sunday, which will include eight local bands ranging from Bavarian music to Irish, bluegrass, and more.
