Wednesday was the warmest day of the year in Medford, reaching an afternoon high of 82. Temperatures will be even warmer into the next two days for most inland sections as temperatures climb into the mid 80’s in the valleys and the low 70’s on the East Side. Low humidities and abundant sunshine will remain through the weekend.
The Coastline will begin to see temperatures cool down this evening and over the next several days as the marine layer pushes inland and winds shift onshore. By the weekend the marine layer will begin to cool down the valleys & Basin but temperatures will only cool down roughly 5 degrees, still averaging out above normal for this time of year. Some clouds will roll in by Sunday and temperatures will continue to gradually cool into next week.
Thanks for logging on & enjoy the summer-like weather!
