WILLAMETTE, Ore. — Parts of the Northwest look like a winter wonderland and we haven’t even gotten to Halloween yet.
An arctic blast dumped about four inches of snow across the Cascade Mountains in Oregon. Ski resorts in Willamette were covered in the white stuff, but not enough for the resorts to open for the season just yet.
The early snow and rain packed storm is expected to linger until about Friday. Another storm is already lined up for the weekend.
Tonight at 5, NewsWatch12 will take a look how early snowfall affected Southern Oregon resorts like Lake of the Woods.
