MEDFORD, Ore. — A Jackson County non-profit is getting help from its Rogue Valley neighbors. State of the art windows are replacing old windows and storm screens at the Dunn House.
The Dunn House is a short-term emergency shelter for domestic violence victims and their children. The double pane windows will help keep the heat out in the summer, and cold out in the winter.
The windows were donated in part by Superior Windows and cost about $3,000 and were installed by volunteers from West Point Construction. Volunteers are also laying rebar, preparing for a concrete ramp at the shelter.
