The Oregon Ducks held off #4 Arizona to get the 70-66 win at Matthew Knight Arena Thursday night. Arizona jumped out to an 11-0 lead early in the first half, but the Ducks stormed back to take a 41-30 lead at the half. The Wildcats made a furious second half comeback, cutting the lead to three with under a minute to go. However, a Jonathan Loyd steal and free throw helped ice the game for the Ducks.
E.J. Singler led the Ducks with 14 points, he also added seven rebounds and seven assists. With the win, the Ducks improve to 13-2 overall and 2-0 in the PAC-12. The loss was Arizona’s first of the season.
