CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon maintained their advantage over their state rival with a convincing 48-24 victory on Saturday. A week after being stifled by Stanford in their first loss of the year, the Ducks offense exploded for 570 total yards and seven touchdowns.
Kenjon Barner led the rushing charge with 198 yards and two touchdowns. Barner was injured for a short time, but De’Anthony Thomas filled in and contributed 122 yards and three touchdowns on the ground, but the story of the game was the turnover differential. The Ducks did not turn the ball over once.
Meanwhile, the Beavers turned it over six times. Sean Mannion threw for over 311 yards but tossed four interceptions. Oregon State still has another game as they make up the Nicholls State game that was postponed earlier in the season.
