Ducks Hope for Breakout Season from Huff

Everyone is focused on the quarterback battle in Eugene, but the Ducks are also going to need some wide receivers to step up and fill the hole left by Lavasier Tuinei.

The only true wide receiver returning for the Ducks is junior Josh Huff. A supremely talented player, Huff has been slowed down by inconsistent play of off-the-field incidents.

“Last season was a disappointment for myself with the dropped balls and not being completely focused at the task at hand,” Huff said. “Now I’ve rededicated myself.”

Huff was also cited for DUII during the off-season, however Huff is preparing for the season as if he won’t be suspended for the incident. Huff said he plans to be on the field for the Ducks opener on September 1st against Arkansas St.

Huff had 31 catches for 430 yards and two touchdowns for the Ducks last season.
