EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon Ducks continued to make their case for why they deserve to be in the National Championship. Oregon trounced Colorado, 70-14 Saturday at Autzen Stadium.
The Ducks rolled up 622 yards of total offense and their highest point total of the season. Kenjon Barner rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns, while De’Anthony Thomas had a breathtaking punt return for a touchdown. The Ducks led 56-0 at the half, and got their backups into the game early. Quarterback Bryan Bennett led all scorers with three touchdowns, two of those coming in the second half.
The Ducks face what should be their toughest test of the season next week as Oregon visits USC. That game kicks off at 4:00 PM on November 3rd.
