Drug Bust In Washington

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Authorities in Washington state seized 74 pounds of methamphetamine from an apartment in Vancouver. The drugs have an estimated street value of nearly a million dollars.

Agents say the apartment was used as a safe house by a Mexican drug trafficking ring. Police also seized $45,000 in cash, two containers of methamphetamine oil, four firearms and four vehicles.

Two men were arrested in connection with the bust. Authorities nabbed two other men in May suspected of taking cash back to California from the drug sales.
