Drought Could Help Oregon Farmers

A drought that is devastating farms across the country could be good news for farmers here in Oregon.

Christmas tree farms in the Midwest are in danger of losing much of their crop to a lack of precipitation. In western Oregon, however, Christmas tree farms are thriving this year and they may be called upon to make up for the loss in Midwest states.

One Oregon Christmas tree farmer says if the severe drought continues in the Midwest, it could raise the price of trees.
