CENTRAL POINT, Ore. — The man lost control of his vehicle and rolled several times. The crash happened around 5 p.m. Friday near Gibbon and Upton Roads in Central Point. Jackson County Sheriff Deputies and Fire District 3 crew members responded.
Deputies say the man was intoxicated veered off the road and rolled several times. A friend of the driver who was on scene told NewsWatch12 his daughter was in the car along with two other passengers. Deputies say after further investigation they discovered the driver was intoxicated.
“The other deputy did do a sobriety test on the individual, he ended up failing those tests and subsequently got arrested,” explained Jackson County Sheriff Deputy
Deputies say speeding was also a factor in this crash. The driver was arrested for DUII and deputies took him to jail. The driver’s friend took the daughter with him.
