WHITE CITY, Ore. – All four people involved in a roll over crash on Highway 140 near Meridian Street walked away unharmed.
According to witnesses, the rolled vehicle slowed down to make a turn and another car tried to speed around them resulting in the accident. The accident did not cause any traffic delays, but did it did take crews a couple of hours to clean up the mess.
Fire District 3 along with Oregon State Police, and a Jackson County Sheriff’s deputy responded to the crash. Fire officials say Highway 140 can be dangerous.
“There are a few roads, people turn in, turn off so just got to be aware of the traffic around you and most importantly have seat belts on,” said Fire District 3 Battalion Chief, Rod Edwards.
All of the people involved were wearing their seat belts.
