Drier Weather On The Way

video preview image

Scattered showers today mainly at the coast and higher elevations with a few showers west of the Cascades through the morning as a low pressure system moves through. This system will be wrapping moisture around the low which will continue to bring a chance for showers all day at the coast and the higher elevations. This system will also be bringing strong winds to the area again, mostly where the rain will be falling.

As we head into the overnight we’ll see the fog return to the coast and valleys and it could be fairly dense in areas through late morning. Keep that in mind as you’re heading out on the roadways tonight or tomorrow, drive a little slower and keep your lights on so people can see you better. Once the fog clears out we’ll see gradual clearing with a chance for showers overnight Friday, mostly at the coast but a few areas on the west side could see a shower or two. After that system moves through we’ll return to a dry and sunny weather pattern through the beginning of next week.
