MEDFORD, Ore. — The Heart of Medford Association has hired Avant Marketing Group to develop a new brand platform, name and tagline for the downtown business district.
The agency says it’s important to draw attention to the area, and with the help of a $50,000 grant from the Medford Urban Renewal Agency, it’s possible.
“We have an educational component , we have a cultural component, we have great dining, and certainly we have good shopping,” says Heart of Medford Association Executive Director Diane Raymond, “There’s a whole bunch of reasons to come downtown. Now it’s about putting that into a message and getting it out to people.”
Avant will start researching downtown Medford and have a pitch by the end of May.
