Dog Wash Dollars Benefit Local Shelters

ASHLAND, Ore. — The Friends of the Animal Shelter helped dogs clean up and cool off Sunday at the 20th Annual Ashland Dog Wash at the Ashland Food Co-op.

Volunteers washed more than 100 dogs. The Paw Spa professionals provided nail trims.

“They don’t all love it some times they don’t like their feet touched so that’s interesting but it’s so hot that it cools them off and they enjoy that,” said Peggy Moore with Friends of the Animal Shelter.

All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Animal Shelter, a volunteer organization that supports the efforts of the Jackson County Animal Shelter.
