MEDFORD, Ore. — 10 non-profit organizations were in the running to receive a brand new Toyota sienna for free and the winner of the national contest is in Southern Oregon.
Dogs for the Deaf received their new minivan Thursday. This is the first time Lithia Toyota of Medford has gotten to give away a car as part of Toyota’s “100 Cars for Good” Giveaway.
Dogs for the Deaf also receives 6 year/100,000 mile service and lifetime oil change with the new Sienna.
“They go to veterinarian appointments. They go to grooming appointments. They literally go and are travelled to the people that they are helping all over the United States so this vehicle is going to come to good use,” said Kelly Gonzales with Dogs for the Deaf
Dogs for the Deaf has been in business since 1977. The group rescues dogs, trains them on the Sam’s Valley property and places them all over the United States with people in need.
