Dogs for the Deaf Gets New CEO

DOGS FOR DEAF CEO 2CENTRAL POINT, Ore.– An organization that rescues dogs and then trains them to help people with hearing disabilities, is getting a new leader.

Blake Matray is coming from Alaska to take over as CEO on July first. He currently leads the non-profit there called The Sled Dog Fund, which helps promote awareness and support of children with special needs.

Dogs for the Deaf is also being awarded a 4-star rating from one of the largest evaluator of charities in the country.

Robin Dickson was the CEO for the organization for 32 years. She retired in December.
