ASHLAND, Ore. — Monday night, Ashland Parks and Rec. will discuss whether dogs will be allowed in eight Ashland parks.
In 2011, the parks were given a one year trial to determine whether dogs would be allowed in Ashland parks. Pet owners were to keep thier dogs on a leash and pick up after them.
The discussion Monday night will allow people to give feedback and determine whether the decision will be made permanent. Currently dogs are not allowed in some parks such as Blue Bird, North Mountain and Lithia Park.
