Doctors Reporting Helps Improve Safety

patientMEDFORD, Ore.– The Oregon Safety Commission is releasing an annual survey to help medical facilities improve patient safety.

The 2013 Oregon Patient Safety Reporting Program includes reported errors such as medication concerns, drug reactions, patient care problems, or equipment failure.

651 submissions were included across the state. The Rogue Regional Medical Center is one of those participants.

Doctors said having this information is helpful to learn from everyone and gives them an opportunity to improve care.
