MEDFORD, Ore. – Friday was a day of donation delivery in the Rogue Valley. Less than a week until the holiday and local businesses are already in the giving mood. On Friday, Les Schwab donated 150 turkeys to the Salvation Army.
Those turkeys will be a part of a grocery pack that the Salvation Army will hand out to local families for Thanksgiving. Grange Co-Op partnered with Rogue Creamery and Wong Potatoes to deliver thousands of pounds of food to various local organizations.
In Medford, Grange Co-Op driver dropped off more than 3,000 pounds of potatoes to the Gospel Rescue Mission. They’ll cook for the homeless on Thanksgiving. Grange Co-Op also delivered to organizations in Ashland, Josephine and Klamath Counties on Friday afternoon.
