MEDFORD, Ore. — Grace Christian School is expected to be up and running again after losing heat and having a pipe burst Monday evening.
Repair crews are still at the school fixing the damage. The school brought in repair crews when the lost heat Sunday morning. The heat is connected to the water system, which caused a two-inch pipe to burst in the front reception office Monday night.
“The water was from the ceiling of the first floor falling down a plate glass window, and it ran for probably 20 to 30 minutes,” said Marilyn Spires, who witnessed the pipe burst.
Repair crews say they have found the ice blockage that caused the issues in the first place. They expect everything to be fixed and the school usable by Tuesday night. That school follows the same schedule as the rest of the Medford School District.
