Soda Mountain Broadcasting, Inc. is accepting applications for the position of:

CREATIVE SERVICES PRODUCER

OPENING DATE: January 9, 2014

CLOSING DATE: Until filled

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for conceptualizing, producing and delivering commercials and promotional materials for multiple distribution platforms, including: television, radio, web, and mobile devices.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES:
 Take creative projects from concept to completion in a solo or collaborative project environment.
 Work hands-on with KDRV clients to write, shoot, edit, and produce commercial content.
 Coordinate the commercial production order process from creation to client billing.
 Create station image and topical promotions under the direction of the Promotions Manager and Creative Services Director
 Assist Promotions Manager and Creative Services Director with special projects and duties related to station’s marketing and promotional efforts.
 Other duties as assigned by the Promotions Manager, Creative Services Director, Sales Manager or station Market Manager
SKILLS REQUIRED/QUALIFICATIONS:
 College degree preferred
 Minimum two years experience in a local television marketing department preferred
 Strong organizational and time management skills
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Computer proficiency in Photoshop, AfterEffects, and Final Cut Pro
 Ability to type 40 wpm
 Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills; a “team player”
 Ability to perform effectively under extreme deadline pressure
 Ability to work occasional weeknights and weekends
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
 Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Oregon driver’s license
 DRUG-SCREENING IS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
This is a full-time, salaried position.

    helped others achieve it’s time for me to achieve in the areas in my life that are important to me.
    I would like to make a difference in the world.
