CRATER LAKE NATIONAL PARK, Ore. — The popular ranger-guided snowshoes tours are set to begin this weekend at Crater Lake.
A ranger-led tour allows residents to explore the beautiful wonderland at the national park and see how plants and animals survive in the deep snow. Rangers will offer the walks every Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. until April.
The walks will also be offered daily from December 26th to January 1st. The tours will provide snowshoes and last around 2 hours. Participants should be at least 8-years-old.
All should be prepared for strenuous activity with warm clothes and footwear. Advanced reservations is required. For more information, click here.
