JACKSONVILLE, Ore. — The investigation continues into a deadly, single vehicle crash outside of Jacksonville that happened late Monday night.
Oregon State Police officers say a 1996 GMC pickup driven by a 42-year-old man traveled off the north side of Highway 238 near milepost 30.
The pickup struck a small utility pole and rolled, police said. The driver was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing safety restraints.
The victim’s name will be released later Tuesday, police said.
