MEDFORD, Ore. — Cover Oregon is hosting a community meeting tomorrow, to get residents ready for the new health care reform.
In just about a week, a new website will launch to help Oregonians understand and shop for health care plans. Anyone who does not have health insurance by January 1st could face penalties.
The meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Smullin Health Education Center next to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford. Residents will learn how to apply for insurance, get a peak at the Cover Oregon website, and learn how to stay in contact with experts along the way.
