Country Clipper Burglarized

Cannon TheftWHITE CITY, Ore. — A burglary over the weekend leaves a pet grooming salon out nearly $2,000.

Country Clipper is located in White City. The owner says someone got into the building by breaking the pad-lock on the glass door. They found the sliding glass open on Monday morning.

“Even then, I wasn’t too upset. We didn’t have anything to take, I thought,” said Country Clipper owner Bill George. “Our drying machines were still there and the usual stuff…and I look down and I notice a big cannon I built right in the entry-way was gone.”

The owner makes several cannons and sells them in front of his salon. The burglar also got away with several pet grooming supplies. Country Clipper does not have any surveillance cameras on its store, but the owner plans to secure the building with stronger locks.
