MEDFORD, Ore. — Restored police cars and classic cars from the 1930s were on display in Medford Sunday to raise money for a local charity. The funding raised at the event benefits the Downs Syndrome Association of Southern Oregon (D.S.A.S.O.).
The event was free to the public. Representatives from local law enforcement agencies were in attendance. David Curry organized the event.
“I’ve got a passion for cars, I’ve got a passion for helping people, and this again has been a great event and hopefully raising a lot of money and awareness for the D.S.A.S.O.”
This was the first event of its kind and organizers hope to make it an annual one.
