Another warm day today but it was 10-20 degrees cooler compared to the last couple of days. The cooling trend will continue into the weekend with below average temperatures by Sunday! Temperatures will be fairly mild overnight yet again and Saturday afternoon highs will be in the low 70s for west side valleys, mid to upper 50s at the coast and mid-60s for the east side. Sunday highs drop another 5 degrees for inland areas.
A low pressure offshore will bring a chance for showers to the coast Saturday evening then pushing inland Sunday and Monday. Most shower activity will be the coast and west side, but a few showers should make it over the Cascades to the Basin. Showers will be light and isolated for the most part for west side valleys, with more scattered showers at the coast and Cascades. Winds will also pick up through the day Saturday and all areas will see clouds increasing.
Tuesday will begin another warming trend into the second half of the week, though we won’t be getting quite as warm as this week! Thanks for logging on and have a great weekend!
