A large upper low will shift south overnight bringing just a few light showers to the east side of southern Oregon and northern California, mainly for Lake, Modoc and east Siskiyou county. Tomorrow will bring a cold morning across the region with areas of frost at the coast and temperatures near to below freezing for west side valleys and lows in the teens and low 2os for the east side. A Frost Advisory has been issued for the coast and a Freeze Warning for west side valleys including the cities of Medford, Grants Pass, Ashland and Cave Junction. Temperatures Wednesday morning could be just as cold but the afternoon will be slightly warmer.
Wednesday will bring increasing clouds and a chance for coast and Cascade light showers overnight Wednesday into Halloween morning. Trick-or-treating still looks to be dry although quite chilly!
The end of the work week will be slightly warmer with more sunshine Friday before the next cold front arrives Saturday returning rain, snow and wind back to the region with another drop in temperatures. Snow levels will drop to 3,000 feet Saturday bringing snow back to the Cascade passes…more so than what we saw today.
Thanks for logging on and have a great evening!
