One more cool day ahead as an upper level low finally pushes through our region. A few scattered showers are possible along the coast throughout the day and possibly into tomorrow morning. The mountains will also be seeing scattered rain showers today and snow showers this evening with up to an inch of accumulation at the higher elevations, not expecting roadways or mountain passes to be impacted.
As the low pushes through we’ll see windy conditions in the afternoon with gusts up to 25 mph posisble in the mountains and the basin. Patchy clouds throughout the day but that won’t allow us to warm up too much, temperatures in the upper 50’s in the basin, mid-50s along the coast and mid-60’s in northern California and the valleys.
High pressure starts to move over the area for the weekend bringing back the sunshine and starting a warming trend as we head into the next several days. Many areas will be back in the 70’s tomorrow and 80’s as we head into next week.
Have a great weekend!
