Thursday morning is going to look and feel pretty familiar: cool morning temperatures, with sunshine on the way to warm things up again above average in most locations away from the coast.
High pressure is still in control over the Pacific Northwest. This will minimize cloud cover (again, away from the beach) and will allow the sun to warm temperatures up considerably.
The warm air at the surface will keep overnight lows above average as well, climbing into the 80s for many of the valleys in Southern Oregon and Northern California, which sounds normal for summer but is actually above average for this time of year.
They sky will remain mostly clear through the week, but clouds will increase along the coastline by the weekend.
