"here's a live look at the oregon coast from the port of brookings harbor. tonight: skies should be mainly clear overnight with dry conditions and very mild temperatures. lows will fall mainly into the 60s. tomorrow: a slight cool down tomorrow as clouds increase across the area into the afternoon leading to a mix of sunshine and clouds. it will still be very hot with highs across the area in the 90s to lower 100s. the coast will be in the 70s. a few isolated thunderstorms are possible in the basin, cascades, and northern california later in the day friday into friday evening. it's possible a shower or thunderstorm could sneak into the rogue valley friday night. extended: the excessive heat warning continues until 11 pm tuesday for our westside valleys. we will see a prolonged stretch of dangerously hot temperatures. we will see temperatures likely climb into the triple digits through next tuesday and overnight lows will be warm in the 60s and 70s. to check up on pets and be sure to apply sunscreen. we will have the chance for a basin. if any storms do could spread quickly. it does appear temperatures could trend down later next thanks.
