the weather around the region. as high pressure builds into the area today and thursday expect a significant warm up across inland areas with very hot temperatures likely by thursday. monsoon moisture and a disturbance will move up from the south on friday. this will bring douglas, klamath and lake counties. additionally, mid and high level clouds will bring a slightly easing of hot temperatures. the slight chance for thunderstorms continues into the weekend as some mid level moisture lingers and the weekend is expected to be mainly from the southern oregon cascades east and over portions of northern california. very hot temperatures are expected across inland areas saturday through early next week as high pressure builds across the region. authorities in alaska are working to find out what caused
