a new way to take recreation to its residents. it's called the rec and go program and the city is unveiling the idea later today. newswatch 12's cassandra mlynarek is live from twin creeks park this morning... she explains how the city is expanding what its local parks have to offer. the city's parks and recreation team will be introducing the rec and go program later today to its residents right here in twin creeks park. it's a van outfitted with recreation games for families - go ahead and take a look. connect four, to yahtzee, we have crafts for the little the city will be offering a first- hand look at the program later today....but the first official use of the rec and go vehicle is on wednesday of next week. staff will be at willie mott park from 9 am to 11 am and then at don jones park from 2 until 4 pm. coming up in our next half hour - how you can be a part of the grand unveiling of the rec and go more than 200 volunteers from oregon, washington,
