12 meteorologist caitlin harvey in the weather center... tonight we will see mostly clear to clear skies. expect overnight lows a couple of degrees cooler, thanks to the lack of cloud cover. temperatures will fall to the mid 30s to low 40s across the region by tomorrow morning. pleasant and quiet weather continues tomorrow for earth day with highs well above-average in the 60s and 70s once again. as a weak disturbance moves eastward throughout the region, we will see some morning clouds before abundant afternoon sun. the uv index for tomorrow will be high if you're planning on spending time outdoors, so make sure to pack the sunscreen. sunny and warm conditions continue monday to start the work week. many of us will see highs in the 70s and even 80s as we begin a strong warming trend. rain chances will remain low throughout the extended forecast. overall, we will see very pleasant and quiet weather for the next several days.. a great chance to head outside! a gale warning has been issued coastal waters of southern oregon until 11pm sunday. winds will increase to 25-35 knots, gusts up to 40 knots, with building surf up to 9-13 feet. many people prepare for the possibility of a house fire.
