Danielle Craig is an Emmy award winning journalist. She anchors Newswatch 12 This Morning from 5:00 to 7:00 a.m. weekdays.
Danielle loves this community! She has been involved with Sparrow Clubs and reports on the program each week. You can see the “Taking Flight” stories during the 6 p.m. newscasts.
Danielle fell in love with journalism at a young age, writing her first “news” story about a coloring book page when she was in 3rd grade. A decade later, she started college at BYU, and got the chance to write real news stories as a reporter for Classical 89 FM. She then headed to Salt Lake City, reporting for KSL Newsradio. Most recently, Danielle was producing the No. 1 morning show in Las Vegas at KSNV.
Danielle has won several awards for her reporting. That includes an Emmy for the midday newscast that she produced and anchored live from the Medford School District office the day teachers went on strike in 2014. She has also received recognition from the Hearst Journalism Competition, the National Society of Professional Journalists and PRNDI.
When Danielle isn’t reporting the news, you can find her hanging out with her husband, trying to keep up with her children, scrapbooking and running!
