MEDFORD, Ore.—South Medford cornerback Josiah Johnson announced Monday he has committed to Western Oregon University.
I am very proud and blessed to say that I will be continuing my academic as well as football career at The University of Western Oregon! Big thanks to the coaching staff as well as those who have supported me along the way! #WolvesUp⚫️ pic.twitter.com/KViOJya6f2

The first-team all-state defensive back joins forces with high school teammates Jaylin Parnell and Jaalen Owens, as both committed to Western Oregon in the past two days.
Johnson had also received an offer from Southern Oregon University, but instead has elected to take the NCAA Division II route.
South Medford quarterback Robbie Patterson—who has offers from Western Oregon, SOU, Simon Fraser and College of Idaho—is the last Panther expected to make a collegiate commitment.
Johnson, Parnell and Owens will join NewsWatch 12 at 11 to discuss their commitments.
