Medford Rogues Round Out Coaching Staff with Hires of Danelson, Balderas

The Rogues hired a pitching and hitting coach.

MEDFORD -- One week after hiring Tyler Graham as their second head coach in franchise history, the Medford Rogues announced today they have hired two assistants to fill his staff. Those two hires are Landon Danelson and Anthony Balderas.

Landon Danelson comes from the Sioux Falls Canaries, an Independent League baseball team. He was previously the GM and head coach of the summer collegiate baseball team, the Sioux Falls Pilots. In 2016, his Pilots won the Corb Belt League regular season title and postseason championship.

Danelson is from Great Falls, Montana and will join Graham's staff as the team's hitting coach in the summer of 2018.

Anthony Balderas just finished up his own playing career at Lewis-Clark as a relief pitcher. He went 7-2 with a 2.14 ERA in two seasons with the Warriors. He is from Carlsbad, a city in Southern California near the Mexico border.

Balderas will join Graham's staff as the team's pitching coach in the summer of 2018.

Now, all the Rogues need to do to fill out their leadership from the front office to the field is hire a new general manager. Carolyn Birch went back to Canada after working for the Rogues as general manager using a work visa.
