MEDFORD, Ore. -- Hiking the 'Table Rocks' in the outskirts of Medford is perfect for a quick morning hike or catching the sunset.
On our 'Hike of the Week', Upper Table Rock at roughly 3 miles (out and back) features a moderate elevation gain along a well-maintained path.
To extend the hike an extra half-mile or so, continue following the path on the top of the table rock to the opposite side (which will get you to 3.5 miles roundtrip).
No dogs are permitted on either Upper or Lower Table Rock.
DIRECTIONS (Via BLM Oregon): To get to Upper Table Rock Trailhead, drive north from Medford, Oregon, on Table Rock Road. Turn right on Modoc Road and continue for 1 mile. The trailhead is on the left side of the road.
