Van Catches Fire In Medford Parking Lot

Medford Fire responded to a well-involved van fire in the Lowe's parking lot on Monday night.

MEDFORD, Ore.-- One man is recovering after getting caught in a van fire Monday night.

Medford Fire-Recue says they received a report of a well-involved van on fire in the Lowe’s parking lot on Crater Lake Highway just before 9pm.

When fire crews got on scene they say they found that man outside of the van.

The back on the van was on fire.

They say the occupant was living in the van and had to be taken to the hospital for some minor injuries.

The cause remains under investigation.

One unit responded and fire officials say it took just under two minutes to put out.
