MEDFORD, Ore. -- Police believe a recent drive-by shooting in West Medford is related to gang activity. Last night witnesses say they saw a white sedan drive by and unload four rounds of ammunition on the 1100 block of Dakota Ave.

One bullet hit a nearby house while two others hit vehicles parked on the street. Curtis Vancil was one of the neighbor's who's car was hit, "I saw the car comming up the street, it had really bright headlights. It was like a whiteist colored car and as they passed my house I saw a guy come up out of the car with like a pistol grip A-K and he just started shooting."

Other neighbors in the area said that they heard shots but didn't see anything.

Police are still early in the investigation and are going door to door, asking residents if they saw anything or if they have survelliance video of the street, in hopes of catching the shooter on camera.
