This event marks the Josephine County Forestry Youth Tree Plant's 29th year. The organization, in partnership with Jackson County, hopes to teach children the benefits of sustainability by directly connecting them with nature. Organizers estimate that about 100,000 trees have been planted since their beginning, back in 1990.
