Grants Pass Police Searching for Suspect Considered 'Armed and Dangerous'

The suspect fled eastbound on B Street after robbing the A1 Market on NE 7th at gunpoint.

GRANTS PASS, Ore. — The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety (GPDPS) is looking for a suspect who should be considered armed and dangerous.

The agency says a man in his mid 20s who entered the A1 Market at 605 NE 7th Street at about 8:30 a.m Thursday. They say the man walked up to the counter, pointed his gun at the store clerk's face, and demanded money out of the register.

The clerk handed him an undisclosed amount of cash, and then the suspect fled eastbound on B Street.

Police say they are continuing to search for the man. 

They describe him to be a white male between 5'10" - 6", and 135 - 150 pounds. He was wearing a gray, white, and blue striped T-shirt, tan shorts, and gray van style shoes.
