AIFF Co-Hosts Benefit Screening of "Captain Fantastic"

A benefit screening of “Captain Fantastic” will be hosted next Tuesday in Ashland.

ASHLAND, Ore. – A benefit screening of “Captain Fantastic” will be hosted next Tuesday in Ashland.


The Ashland Independent Film (AIFF) and Coming Attractions Theatre will hold the screening Aug. 23 at 6:00 p.m. at the Varsity Theatre.


Matt Ross, the film’s award-winning director and writer, is an Ashland High School graduate.


AIFF’S Director of Programming, Richard Herskowitz, will moderate a Q&A with Ross following the film.


Afterward, a “Meet the Director” fundraising reception will be held at Scarpetta Restaurant.
