GRANTS PASS, Ore. — Water and sewer systems in Grants Pass have been feeling the impact of the cold weather this month.
The supervisor at the Grants Pass Water Treatment plant said the cold temperatures have slowed down their process over the past few weeks. He said it makes it a little harder to disinfect the water.
One of the biggest problems have been for water workers in the field. Employees received more than 20 calls for broken service lines between Friday and Saturday.
