High pressure will remain the dominant weather pattern over the region bringing abundant sunshine and dry weather through the weekend. Midweek a weak disturbance will bring a few more clouds to the area and the marine layer back to the coast, but will still dry and sunny for the most part. The chetco effect will be present in Brookings and along the Chetco River again tomorrow warming the Brookings area more so than the rest of the south coast.
Overnight temperatures will remain quite cold due to the clear skies and an inversion setting up keeping the colder air in the valleys while the mountains will be slightly warmer. West side valleys in southern Oregon and Siksiyou county are in a freeze warning for Tuesday morning for morning lows dipping into the upp-20s and mid-low 30s. There will also exist areas of valley fog in the mornings through midweek but that will burn off quickly leading to beautiful sunny afternoons.
Share your weather photos with me, especially if you have an fog photos I’d love to see them and maybe share them on-air. Thanks for logging on and have a great evening!
