A fast moving storm will impact Southern Oregon and Northern California tonight and Wednesday. Snow levels will remain high (above 6,500 feet), but will fall to 5,000 feet by morning and 3,500 feet late in the day.

Yes, it has snowed in San Diego. We were living there in 1967, we
saw it falling. Having grown up in the mountains surrounding SD, where they do get snow
it is entirely possible to have it fall in the city on occasion.
You are doing a good job in incorporating the Klamath Basin in your forecasts. You show a
understanding of “our side of the mountain”. Thank you.
