MEDFORD, Ore. – The cool fall temperatures are just around the corner and just in time for NewsWatch 12, Windemere and a variety of other businesses to team up for the annual Coats For Kids campaign. The cooler temperatures are on their way and NewsWatch12 wants to make sure local children are ready for them.
In day one, the barrels are already filling up. The Coats For Kids drive is well underway, with the community, once again, stepping up to donate a gently used or new coat to keep a child warm.
On Monday, NewsWatch12 started prepping and rolling out the barrels across Southern Oregon – barrels that won’t be empty for long. This year’s Coats for Kids drive runs today through October 25th. Click here for a full list of drop off locations.
