Cloud cover will continue breaking up today, following a cold front passage earlier this morning. Gradually clearing skies will lead to partly-mostly sunny conditions by the afternoon. Temperatures will trend 5-10 degrees cooler than Sunday but this will allow for highs to stay very comfortable in most areas. The Coast will be on the cooler side today under partly sunny skies.
The next few days temperatures will trend cooler than the past and some clouds will stay present. By Thursday though, skies will clear and mostly sunny conditions will allow for a warming trend to begin. By Friday and the weekend, we’ll be back into the mid 70’s for the East and the lower 80’s west of the Cascades.
Showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast for Sunday in some locations, and this may need to be expanded for Saturday and possibly Thursday. Although these days will start out mostly sunny, cumulus build ups will likely bring a few afternoon showers throughout the weekend.
Enjoy your Memorial Day with family & friends! Thank you to all the veterans who have served our country!
