Although we had abundant sunshine across the region this afternoon, the cooler air mass in place prevented us from warming into the mid 70’s this afternoon. Expect clear skies into the overnight hours, but slightly warmer temperatures in the Klamath Basin this evening. For this reason, no freeze warning is in effect.
Sunny conditions will return by tomorrow’s daybreak and temperatures will begin warming into the weekend. A ridge of high pressure & thermal trough is going to allow for afternoon highs to reach mid to upper 70’s & 80’s by next week. This pattern is not expected to change, and 90 degree days are anticipated by Tuesday & Wednesday further inland.
Enjoy the spring-like weather!
